Washington State Water Resources Association is the coordinating agency for the irrigation districts in Washington State. We have 35 irrigation district members covering 1.1 million irrigated agricultural acres. WSWRA is active in state and federal water policy and legislative issues and affiliated with National Water Resources Association.

THE WSWRA MISSION

It is the mission of the Washington State Water Resources Association to promote the responsible stewardship of the water resources of the state; to protect irrigated lands for present and future generations; and to ensure the continuation of services and the coordination of state and federal agencies dealing with water resources.

THE WSWRA PROFILE

The Association has a 15 member Board of Directors which meets to conduct association business on a bi-monthly basis.

The Association hires an Executive Director to manage the affairs of the Association

The Association utilizes the services of a Government Relations Specialist to manage interaction with the state legislature, administration and agencies.
